Lingo24 today launches its environmental policy. Since its inception, Lingo24 has acted in an environmentally responsible manner, with staff working from home to reduce the need for travel and using electronic formats to cut down on paper usage. The company has now formalised its policies to ensure staff, customers and other companies know what we mean when we call ourselves ‘the green translation company’.
“Businesses of all sizes have a responsibility to develop in a sustainable manner, and we want to take a lead in this area,” commented director Christian Arno.”We’ve always been very ‘green’, but want to push ourselves further. We intend to develop this policy in the future.”
In other news, Lingo24 has taken on a new customer relations manager in Aberdeenshire. Alison Smith, an enthusiastic linguist, will be ensuring Lingo24’s clients are happy with the services we provide and keeping her ear to the ground in case there’s something more we could be doing for them!
There’s lots going on at the moment – be sure to come back for news of our latest developments, which may well include:
- exciting new clients we’re not sure if we’re allowed to tell you about(!)
- a new look for the Lingo site
- the establishment of a new sister company in eastern Europe
- and, quite probably, much, much more!
