Making translation easier and cheaper

In an increasingly globalised economy the need for translation has never been greater. More and more of the world is getting online – and most of them speak languages other than English. But this creates challenges for businesses looking for a quick and affordable way to overcome language barriers.

We’re delighted to announce we’ve launched our new Budget Translation service, a fast, low-cost service which still ensures accuracy and reliability. It’s designed to bridge the gap between free (but risky) web-based translation options, and professional, fully-managed services.

Budget Translation combines automatic translation by industry-leading software with light post-editing by native-speaking linguists. Customers can order quickly online, and often get their translation within 24 hours.

We think it’s the cheapest option around for a reliable translation that’s been checked and proofread by experienced translators. All our editors are fully qualified translators, who will make sure the text is an accurate reflection of the source (although style and other considerations won’t be a priority).

When should you use Budget Translation? Well, perhaps not for that glossy marketing brochure where every word has to be perfect! But it’s the ideal option for large volumes of content, where the important thing is understanding. We recommend it for emails, support documentation, online help forums, user-generated content, and other text where style is not the overriding requirement.

It’s currently available in five of our most popular language combinations, but we’ll soon be adding more.

With even small businesses now operating in several countries, we think this budget service fills an important need. It’ll help break down language barriers, facilitate fast communication, and help them tap into new and growing markets.

Do check out our online ordering system and get a free, no-obligation quote. Or find out more about our full range of translation services.
