So what’s the big idea? Well, we obviously love getting out and about and meeting customers, and chatting by email, phone and social media. But live chat gives you another, instant way to get in touch. It’s very informal as well – you might have just found our website, or have a quick question you’d like to ask.
We’ll have members of our Client Liaison and Sales teams monitoring the chatroom. And since we work round-the-clock, our Lingo-ists in Panama and the Philippines will take over outside normal working hours.
In fact, more companies are finding that live chat is a good way of being available to customers. Technology might be changing the way we work, but most people still want to talk to a real person. There are few things more frustrating than waiting in a long phone queue, or struggling to find contact details on a website.
