Technology is changing the way marketers and advertisers connect with consumers. Multiple channels and a huge wealth of data give unprecedented opportunities for targeting a message. But the challenge is cutting through the noise to engage with busy, tech-savvy customers.
Technology for Marketing & Advertising (TfM&A) is a not-to-be-missed event exploring current and future trends. It’s the flagship conference for Britain’s marketing, media, and advertising industry. More than 11,000 senior professionals will gather in London to discuss topics such as “engaging the connected consumer” and “adapting to the social fast lane”.
Now in its 13th year, TfM&A takes place on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th February at Earl’s Court. It’s billed as four shows in one, as it takes place concurrently with Online Advertising & Affiliate Expo, Publishing & Media Expo, and the International Direct Marketing Expo (new this year).
Keynote talks will include Google’s director Richard Robinson speaking on the “Future of Digital” and Colin Grieves of Experian Marketing Services discussing the “Omni-Channel Big Bang: Engaging the connected customer in 2013”.
Some of the household names who will be attending include American Express, D&G, Paypal, Santander, Royal Mail, Sony Music Entertainment and Xerox. And leading suppliers will be showcasing their latest technology in areas such as customer relations management, analytics and tracking, and viral marketing. More than 100 seminars will focus on all aspects of marketing. Case studies from top brands will give participants the change to learn from tried and tested techniques.
Some highlights will be the Future Trends Theatre – with a finger firmly on the pulse of the hottest new marketing trends – and the International Direct Marketing bootcamp, which offers hands-on, practical 90-minute sessions. The show is also a great place to network and share ideas, with a bar, cafe, lounge and the Hotel Chocolat’s “treat station”!
Marketing is a big industry for Lingo24, and our top team, Alexandru Moraru and Vlad Rusescu will be at the event. They’ll be keeping up with the latest trends and chatting to participants about foreign language internet marketing.
Alexandru said: “This is a great opportunity to learn more about the industry and meet new and existing clients. There’s a fascinating programme this year – I’m particularly looking forward to Chris Shaumann of Nokia’s session on Digital Marketing Transformation on Tuesday. He’ll be looking at how companies can adapt their strategies in a fast-changing digital world.”
