We have a lot to be thankful for at Lingo24 – our great clients, our fantastic team, and our brilliant translators, to mention just a few things we’re grateful for.
The very best industry plaudits are those which are voted for by the people you work with. And with that in mind, we’re very pleased to announce that Lingo24 has been awarded top scores by the translators at two major online linguist communities, ProZ and Translators Cafe.
Everyone at Lingo24 is in their role because it’s what they do best. From marketers and management, to translators and technologists, every ‘Lingo-ist’ (a Lingo24 employee…) has found their area of expertise and perform impeccably.
Recently Lingo24 was listed as a regional finalist in the HSBC Business Thinking competition, which earned us a place on the Thought Exchange trip to Istanbul in mid-September – a chance for business leaders from Scotland and Northern Ireland to swap ideas and build business relationships.
Online translators’ community ProZ.com is hosting three virtual conferences from September through to November for translators, agencies and translation buyers, covering all aspects of the language services and global marketing communication industries.
Lingo24, Scotland’s most successful translation and localisation company, with a turnover of £3.65m in 2009, broke into the US market this month, launching a full-time hub in Silicon Valley.
Lingo24 is one of the six regional finalists for Scotland and Northern Ireland as part of HSBC’s Business Thinking programme. And as a finalist, Lingo24’s founder and CEO Christian Arno is heading off to Istanbul this week on a Thought Exchange trip.
Lingo24’s CTO Andrzej Zydron recently returned from a week in Bucharest, Romania, where he was contributing to the EU-funded Multilingual Web project.
